Noosa is one of the homes of surfing in Australia, due to its great waves and pleasant conditions all year round. The Noosa Surf Life Saving Club has been the home of many a champion surfer, but you don’t have to be a champions to experience Noosa surfing. In fact, you don’t even have to surfed in your life!

You can get Noosa surfing lessons from former world champion Merrick Davis at Noosa’s Learn to Surf. Designed for people of all ages, these extremely safe surf lessons promise to have you standing on your special wide body soft board in the waist-deep water. Come and attend just one or two sessions, or take part in the three day or five day certificate courses and learn to surf on your own anywhere you choose. Book two hours of one-on-one coaching with Merrick, or take a guided surf tour or adventure.

Noosa Surf Lessons also teach safe surfing at Noosa Heads, with one-on-one coaching and discounted prices for kids. They can pick up and drop off as part of Noosa accommodation specials, and look after you if you’re not confident in the water. They’ve even taught octogenarians before, proving you’re never too old to master the Noosa tides.

    Noosa is beautiful when I was there a few years ago however never got a chance to surf there … maybe next time.
