Noosa Long Weekend – One of Australia’s most popular regional cultural events, The Noosa Longweekend is a 10 day festival of theatre, literature, music, dance, film, food and visual arts.  Held in June, the Noosa Longweekend was launched in 2002 by locals including famous Australian playwright David Williamson, author Kristin Williamson, violinist Brett Dean, restauranteur Leonie Palmer-Fischer along with Rick Clayton and Ros McCauley and environmentalist, Dr. Michael Gloster.  It includes a diverse program and for a full list of events go to www.longweekend.com
