This is something we have started to do quite regularly.  Head over to Belmondos at Noosaville.  This is a fantastic gourmet food outlet selling all sorts of upmarket groceries and tasty delights which you can either eat in or take away with you.  They make great coffee and everyone sits at a long table with their coffee and cake and reads copies of Delicious magazine or The Gourmet Traveller.  You can read the Financial Review if you are so inclined!  Anyway after doing that you can choose from the huge array of cheeses, antipasto, home made pies, rolls, sandwiches and quiches plus more cake(!) and take it with you for a picnic lunch.  We have been heading back to Noosa main beach and setting ourselves up at one of the little tables on the way down to the National Park.  Oh it’s a tough life!
